[BEST SONG EVER] The Coathangers “Adderall”

This one time in college I took Adderall with the intention of studying (ie learning an entire class worth of material before the final as I had sort of neglected to attend any sessions the entire quarter) but just as I was about to joyfully (and quickly) skip along to the library, I noticed the counters of my kitchen could use some tidying. Five hours later I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the shower grout with a toothbrush, with little further knowledge of Gender Communication and bleach all over my pants.

What’s the point of that story? WHO KNOWS! Perhaps if I took more Adderall, I could focus on keeping these posts on topic. Perhaps if I took more Adderall, I could be as awesome as Atlanta-based girl gang The Coathangers, and make songs like this one, incidentally also called “Adderall”, and look painfully cool in a denim vest while playing stabbing amazonian punk rock. Perhaps if I took more Adderall, my voice could sound more like Stephanie Luke’s, all gutturally gorgeous and incredibly sexy (as opposed to my current pre-pubescent teenage boy warble). I don’t know if any of this is true, but I’m going to start dosing myself in hopes that one day The Coathangers will allow me to lurk in the shadows of their consummate cool, hyper-actively playing a tambourine or Swiffering the stage or something.
